CalMac Ferries has advised that the Mallaig–Armadale (Skye)service will be impacted by vessel redeployment from 27 March to 8 April 2026. While it’s disappointing that vehicle capacity will be greatly reduced during part of the Easter holidays, the good news is that local charter vessels will step in to keep the route running.
To support the service during this period, two vessels will provide vehicle and foot passenger sailings from Mallaig to Armadale and Armadale to Mallaig:
- MV Sheerwater – carrying up to 80 foot passengers.
- Miss Marley – carrying 6 cars and 12 passengers.
- These vessels will operate until the MV Coruisk expected return to service on 8 April. Bookings can be made directly through the CalMac booking office in Mallaig.
📞 01687 310340 to book for Sailings from Mallaig, or 01687 310 240 for sailings from Armadale. Early booking for the car service is advisable, due to limited capacity on each sailing.

We will continue to work closely with CalMac throughout these disruptions and will share updates as they become available.
